Johnson Service Group is an award-winning staffing company looking for a CNC Machinist I with 1-3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment. This is a Temp-Direct job for an Electronics company in Chatsworth, CA.

POSITION : CNC MACHINIST I

SHIFT : 6 : 15am–4 : 45pm (Monday through Thursday)

Basic Functions

• Responsible for operating one or more types of computer numeric controlled production equipment. CNC Machine Operation, Milling, Precision Machining
• Ability to interpret Blueprints / Diagrams and Quality Requirements.
• Monitoring - Monitoring / Assessing performance of yourself, work processes / products, company policy, and to make improvements or taking corrective action.
• Selects appropriate settings and makes adjustments as necessary. Troubleshooting
• Follows established quality and safety standards.
• Basic understanding of machine tool clearances, fixture offsets, and cutting tool offsets.
• Monitors machine operations and inspects machined parts to ensure job specifications are met.
• Selects from a variety of standard methods to inspect intricate parts.
• Highly organized individual with excellent communication skills.
• Additional machining responsibilities as needed.
