Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new customer accounts through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and account management.
- Understand client freight requirements and propose tailored transportation solutions (LTL, FTL, specialized services, etc.).
- Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline updates, and activity reports in the company's CRM system.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new opportunities.
Qualifications
Proven experience in freight, logistics, transportation, or related sales roles preferred.Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
