Practice setting : Emergency Department with 20 beds, part of a 199-bed hospital

Types of cases : General emergency care

Volume : 40,000 annual visits, averaging 2.1 patients per hour

EMR : MedHost

Requirements : Board-certified or board-eligible within five years in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine; ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; COVID vaccination required

Other : Some admitting orders required; no scribe coverage available
