Warehouse Specialist
As the Warehouse Specialist you will :
- Research, analyze, and evaluate correct repair parts and materials.
- Receive incoming freight, identify problems with shipments, and coordinate reconciliations with suppliers as necessary.
- Maintain and update automated bar code system to track proof of deliveries.
- Select freight companies for all merchandise and parts returns to suppliers and coordinate all outgoing shipments.
- Compile stock orders to replenish Business Unit inventories.
- Operate, maintain, diagnose problems, perform basic repairs, and replace parts on high-speed Vertical Lift Module (VLM) and all equipment in the warehouse.
Shift Information
You could be given one of two shifts :
Shift : 8 am- 4 : 30 pm Monday Friday, day shift (hours may vary)Shift : 4 : 30 am-1 : 00 pm Monday Friday, night shift (hours may vary)Minimum Qualifications
Experience / Education / Licenses
Two years of shipping and receiving experience. Heavy-duty diesel parts experience or knowledge of bus and train parts is preferred. Two years' experience using JD Edwards preferred. UPS / FedEx shipping software is preferred. VLM operation / maintenance or high density storage equipment or equivalent experience preferred.High School diploma. Some college courses or formal training in Purchasing, Materials Management, Warehousing or related field is preferred.Must have a valid Utah driver's license. Must be a safe driver with no more than 4 moving violations in the past three 3 years. Cannot have more than 1 violation of driving under the influence of alcohol, any drug, or the combined influence of any alcohol or any drug within the last 10 years.Knowledge :
Experience utilizing parts publications for parts research from vendors such as Detroit Cummings, Gillig, MCI, New Flyer, Siemens, and Bombardier is preferred.Knowledge of Import / Export regulations / laws for US, Canada and Europe helpful.Advanced knowledge of JD Edwards preferred.Skills :
Strong customer service and communication. Ability to interact in a professional manner at all times.Microsoft Office software proficiency at a basic level in Word and Excel.Abilities :
Must be certified or be able to be certified to operate sit down counterbalanced fork truck, narrow aisle fork truck, electric pallet jack and aerial lift.Ability to use power tools such as compound miter saw, reciprocating saw, screw gun, etc. is helpful.Must be able to perform effectively in a fast paced environment.Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.This job requires regular and predictable attendance.OR

Pay Rate : $21.875 - $25.240 per hour, commensurate with experience
