Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist with skills in both diagnostic X-ray and CT for an overnight, acute care assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based in an acute care hospital setting
  • Shifts are Sunday through Wednesday, 8 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM, working 10-hour overnight shifts
  • Patient care areas may include E.R. and main diagnostic departments
  • Responsible for both diagnostic X-ray and CT procedures using fixed and mobile radiographic equipment
  • Team-based work environment alongside other technologists and healthcare staff
  • Main responsibilities include performing radiographic procedures under supervision of radiology management and in collaboration with physicians
  • Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility and local candidates will not be considered
  • Work involves delivering high-quality imaging and superior customer service as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • CPI certification is mandated for the position
  • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiology Tech in a U.S. hospital acute care setting
  • Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program with an Associate's Degree or equivalent
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • Current and active state license required, with no pending status (License required if applicable)
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
  • Current state Radiation Quality Standards and RT Registration required
  • Ability to perform both diagnostic X-ray and CT procedures
  • Valid U.S. Social Security Number is required for consideration
  • Two manager or supervisor references preferred reflecting experience within the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
