Your responsibilities

Position Summary : Perform physical operations of grinding center. Execute most efficient manner of operations. Organize cell workflow and plan necessary machining sequences.

• Perform set ups to including setting of chuck jaws, rails, pads, tools, clamping, fixtures, loads and unload parts using overhead crane.
• Perform parts inspection using micrometers, dial indicators, pipe gauges, dial calipers, verniers, depth micrometers, surface finish testing equipment and other related inspection tools.
• Notifies supervision and inspection when parts do not conform to the drawing specifications.
• Plan finish grinding / machining by having fluent understanding of assets and related equipment.
• Understand all GD&T requirements for processes.
• Machine set-up along with program downloading. Knowledge of Fanuc or Siemens interface.
• Maintain work cell and environment and surrounding area to premium standards.

Education Requirements : High school diploma or GED. Previous machining experience and practices required. Blueprint and GD&T knowledge is necessary.

Export Control :

This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required export authorization from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
