Position Summary :
The E-resources Accounting Specialist assists with the acquisition, administration, and maintenance of the Libraries’ electronic and continuing resources, the continuity of access and discoverability of the Libraries’ licensed and open access resources, as well as invoice processing, maintenance of statistics, account reconciliation, and works with various platforms to track financial data that informs collection management decisions. This position is a member of the Collections department and reports to the Assistant Director of Collections for Acquisitions and Licensing.

Maintains budget tracking data and reconciles against UGA financial reporting tools for Electronic & Continuing Resources Unit accounts. Liaises with unit heads, Libraries finance team, and UGA Finance and Administration to manage financial record keeping, assisting with the resolution of payment processing problems.

Ensures timely action and appropriate tracking of various payment processes by keeping detailed and organized records, using spreadsheets, and documenting workflows. Communicates with vendors, publisher and internal stakeholders on the status of payments.
