PLANT OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
The Plant Operations Assistant, under the direction of the Production Supervisor, is responsible for operating manufacturing / packaging equipment, which includes equipment set-up, checking for the quality of the product and meeting production schedules.
JOB DUTIES
- Operate conveyor, shrink-wrap and bagging equipment
- Hanging and sealing bags of product
- Filling and sealing shaker bottles of product
- Bag product with the correct blend to the required weight level
- Place product on pallets according to specifications
- Assist with maintaining equipment which includes cleaning out production equipment and lines
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Performs other related duties as assigned
