Requirements

• Provide compassionate, end-of-life care to patients in homes, facilities, or inpatient hospice settings.
• Utilize nursing expertise in tasks such as monitoring vitals, medical procedures, and educating patients and family
• Offer emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial support to patients and their families.
• Educate family members on caregiving techniques and what to expect during the dying process.
• Respond to patient and family needs with sensitivity, patience, and respect for cultural and personal values.
• Provide bereavement support and resources to families after a patient’s death.
