Public Trust Linux Administrator

A company is looking for a Linux Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain RHEL / Ubuntu with CIS / NOAA hardening

Operate Linux-based applications and pipelines, and manage containerized services using Docker / Podman and Kubernetes

Provide Tier 2 support for Linux-based scientific workflows and participate in post-cruise reviews

Required Qualifications

5 years of experience administering Linux in production / hybrid environments

Strong skills in package management, systemd, SELinux / AppArmor, and TCP / IP

Proficient with Ansible and shell / Python scripting

Experience with CORIOLIX / OpenRVDAS / Globus and optimizing I / O at sea

Relevant certifications such as RHCSA / RHCE or LFCS / LFCE are preferred
