Job Summary
- The selected candidate will support the framework of automated tests on multiple environments for a large complex enterprise system
- The agile development teams follow the Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) pattern, where developers are responsible for implementing robust testing leveraging DevOps automation and, where appropriate, the use of test automation commercial tools
- Activities supporting this framework include developing, improving and maintaining the BDD framework
Primary Responsibilities
Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites and frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of software applicationsTroubleshooting and debugging automated tests to identify root causes of failures and ensure test reliabilityWorking closely and collaborating with development teams to identify testable requirementsImplementing automated testing solutions and ensuring that the software is testableWriting and executing automated test scripts using various testing tools and frameworksMaintaining clear and concise documentationTracking issuesManaging VMsUsing CI / CD tools and basic system admin experienceParticipating in daily stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Program Increment (PI) Planning, and other related team activitiesRequired Qualifications
Must have active Top Secret / SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope PolygraphMust have demonstrated experience with Java, including development of unit testsMust have experience working with Spring libraries, development IDEs (Integrated Development Environments), and working with CI / CD frameworksMust have experience with software source control and configuration management toolsMust have experience working in Windows and / or Linux operating systems and experience working in a virtualized environment (managing VMs)Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 8 years of relevant experienceExperience working with integration test frameworkBasic Windows administration experience (i.e. Windows Registry Editor, Services, Task Scheduler, etc.)Experience with task automation such as PowerShellExperience with knowledge management systemsExperience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD)Experience with the Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, SAFe Agilest Certification, or experience as a member of an Agile teamExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD / LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The pay range for this role is :
160,000 - 235,000 USD per year(AJ6)
