Physical Therapist OR Physical Therapy Asst.

This Physical Therapist OR PTA will work with our Acute and Inpatient Rehab Float team. The Physical Therapy Asst. demonstrates a sound knowledge of the principles and applications of physical therapy procedures and modalities. Provides patient care / services based on identified needs / developmental levels for all patient populations. Works under the supervision of the physical therapist.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Provides education and treatment / modalities following the physical therapist's patient evaluation and treats the patient according to professional standards of care and practice based on the patient’s disability, age, and psychosocial needs.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation timely.

Education :

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

Experience :

Minimum one year of clinical experience is preferred

Licensure / Certification :

Valid Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy license, valid Kentucky Driver’s License (if Home Health)
