• Patient Assessment : Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and functional needs to accurately diagnose impairments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions : Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and gait training to improve patients' mobility, strength, balance, and pain management.
• Functional Training : Assist patients in developing compensatory strategies, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training to enhance their independence in activities of daily living.
• Patient Education : Educate patients and their families on proper body mechanics, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies to promote long-term health and well-being.
• Collaboration : Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Compliance : Adhere to all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines, including HIPAA and Medicare regulations.
