Facility Outpatient Coding Auditor

A company is looking for an Outpatient Coding Auditor to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Perform coding quality audits and reviews on facility outpatient records

Provide feedback and education to coding staff

Extract clinical information and assign appropriate medical codes to patient records

Required Qualifications

AHIMA or AAPC certification

2-3 years of experience performing facility outpatient audits

Experience in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and procedural / surgical coding

Ability to assemble final reporting

Experience with trauma activation preferred but not required
