Job description

We are seeking a skilled CRNA specializing in anesthesiology for a locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Dec 8, 2025, with a 24-day contract and involves providing general anesthesia services 1-2 days per month, with shifts from 8am to 5pm or 7am to 3pm. Candidates with experience in pain management are encouraged to apply and must be comfortable working independently in a flexible scheduling environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Administer general anesthesia for a variety of procedures
  • Manage and monitor patient sedation levels throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety
  • Utilize advanced pain management techniques as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of anesthesia care
  • Adhere to facility protocols and best practices in anesthesiology

    • Additional Information

  • Active California CRNA license required
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certifications required
  • Experience in pain management preferred
  • Start date may depend on credentialing
