Job description

Manufacturing Manager

Lead and oversee daily operations across multiple manufacturing lines to ensure timely, high-quality output. Develop and implement strategic plans that drive safety, compliance, operational efficiency, and cost control. Manage, coach, and develop supervisors and production teams to build a high-performance culture. Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, OSHA) and internal quality systems. Champion Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste. Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Inventory teams to resolve production challenges and support new product introductions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive accountability for meeting production goals. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment aligned with company standards. Support audits, inspections, and corrective actions to uphold product and process integrity.

A successful Manufacturing Manager should have :

  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles, with at least 3 years in a medical device or regulated industry.
  • Proven success managing high-mix production environments.
  • Strong understanding of component-level manufacturing processes (e.g., plastics, electronics, assemblies).
  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing metrics (OEE, yield, throughput). Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Base Salary : $120K-$160K, depending on experience
