Job Skills : Accounting and Finance
Major Worker Characteristics : Knowledge of : accounting; Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, auditing, BWC & State & Federal laws related to accounting, office practices & procedures, human relations, Oracle General Ledger System; BWC & State & Federal laws related to accounting.
Skill in : calculator; Microsoft Office software (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to : define problems; collect & analyze data; establish facts & draw valid conclusions; add, subtract, multiply & divide whole numbers, fractions, decimals & percentages; conduct financial analysis; prepare journal entries; perform reconciliations; create financial statements; gather, collate & classify information about data, people or things; prepare reports in narrative & graphical formats; communicate clearly in writing & verbally with internal & external auditors; plan & organize multiple tasks; work independently; deal with large number of technical variables to determine premium & cash projections; prepare financial statements for review by external auditors; create documentation for monthly financial statements.

BWC OCSEA Selection Rights : This position shall be filled in accordance with the provisions of the OCSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
