Your Role's Impact
  • Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care regimens
  • Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions, either independently or in partnership with physicians, according to your credentials
  • Providing education on prevention, wellness, and disease management for patients and families
  • Prescribing medication and therapy in line with your professional scope
  • Engaging in follow-up care and chronic disease management efforts
  • Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams for cohesive, holistic patient care
  • Maintaining precise and comprehensive documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications for Success
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in Ohio
  • Nationally recognized certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
