Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medical Director opportunity in Panama City, FL Position Details : - Seeking an exceptional physical medicine and rehabilitation physician to join us as Medical Director of an existing program- Board eligible / board certified in PM&R- Inpatient focus- Full-time position with Medical Directorship duties- Day shift with rotating weekends- Provide leadership and direction for existing rehabilitation program- Cover 20-bed acute inpatient rehab unit located within Panama City Beach, Florida- A dedicated group of trained therapy and nursing staff including certified rehab nurses- We treat general acute rehab patients including but not limited to stroke, orthopaedic, multiple trauma, amputation, neurological conditions, and debility patients- Can do consults in hospital or nursing homes, if interested Incentive / Benefits Package : - Competitive compensation- Comprehensive benefits- Medical Directorship- Strong support system About the Group / Practice : - Medical Center is a 260 plus bed full-service, acute care, Med / Surg hospital located on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico serving the residents of Bay County and beyond. - This facility offers a Level II NICU and Neonatal Transport Team, an American College of Surgeons Commission cancer program, a Rehab Center, Wound Care Center, ER, OB / GYN, ICU, a full range of Surgical Services and a wide range of ancillary support- The Group currently has 3 interventional cardiologists, 1 non-invasive and 4 APPs- This need is due to the exciting growth this practice has seen since inception 6 years ago.- Stress, Echo and EKG in practice Location : - Panama City, FL is a popular tourist attraction known for its sugar-white sand beaches, emerald green waters, bays, bayous and the warm southern hospitality of our residents. - Panama City provides a highly attractive living environment compatible with a variety of tastes and lifestyles.- The area offers a pleasant climate, affordable housing, fresh and salt-water fishing, world class golf, performing arts, museums, FSU / Panama City campus, community college and an excellent public school system along with several private and parochial schools.
