Job Responsibilities
The Instructor reports directly to the Dean. The primary responsibilities of the faculty member are to teach courses by providing systematically planned and delivered instruction; to design and develop curriculum; evaluate student performance; and to advise students. The program area is the Construction and Industrial Electrician degree including all EEM courses ranging from DC / AC circuits, Commercial / Industrial wiring, Motor Controls, DC / AC machines and Electrical Codes.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology, or an associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, Instrumentation Technology, or related field, plus two (2) years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidate will meet minimum qualifications, have a master electrician license, and have experience as a commercial / industrial electrician. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential. Must function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology. Must remain current in the discipline and professional development.Additional Comments
