Samsung Display Lab is hiring an AI expert with background of circuit / pixel layout design, circuit simulation by fusing physics-based simulation with modern AI / ML. You'll drive AI-assisted panel layout and architect pixel / backplane circuits, build high-fidelity surrogates for parasitics using AI.

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to develop and apply advanced AI techniques that accelerate chip and layout design. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of machine learning, simulation, and electronic design automation (EDA) — building intelligent models that improve design efficiency, and guide optimization through data-driven experimentation.

Location : Daily onsite presence at our San Jose, CA office / U.S. headquarters in alignment with our Flexible Work policy.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement AI / ML models that support chip and layout design workflows.
• Apply design of experiments (DoE) and optimization methods to accelerate simulation and parameter tuning.
• Integrate AI models into existing simulation and layout environments (e.g., SPICE, Cadence).
• Collaborate with circuit, layout, and process engineers to apply ML solutions to real design challenges.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of model accuracy through active learning and uncertainty analysis

Base Pay Range

$157,000—$243,000 USD
