Overview
The University of Virginia Health System is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Rhinology team within the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. The APP will work alongside two rhinology specialists and will care for adult and pediatric otolaryngology patients. The rhinology team provides evaluation, diagnosis, management and treatment of diseases of the nose and sinuses, including chronic and recurrent sinusitis, nasal polyps, rhinitis, allergy, epistaxis, smell and taste disorders, cerebrospinal fluid leaks, pituitary and skull base surgery, and tumors of the nose and sinuses.
This is a clinical position with both independent and team-based care, with pathway toward increased autonomy based on training and competency. The successful applicant will work independently and with attending physicians to evaluate and manage patients in ambulatory settings and coordinate multidisciplinary care with ophthalmology, neurosurgery, and other specialties as needed. The role offers opportunity to develop deep expertise in complex nose and sinus diseases and skull base conditions within an academic and supportive environment.

Qualifications
Required : Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program. Current national certification and eligibility for Virginia licensure. BLS certification.
Preferred : Experience in ENT, primary care, or a surgical subspecialty is helpful, but new graduates are welcome to apply and will receive structured onboarding and training. Demonstrated understanding of healthcare systems, leadership abilities, and experience with quality improvement efforts.
Additional Information
Anticipated working hours are approximately Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 a.m.–5 : 00 p.m., with potential for future adjustments. No call and no additional daytime shifts at this time.
Position Details
Position Compensation Range : $96,907.20 – $155,043.20 annually.
