Security Supervisor
Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to join our Safety & Security team. Be part of an inspiring group that embodies genuine care and the Golden Rule in the heart of wine country.
The Security Supervisor reports to the Security Manager and plays a key role in maintaining the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property. This role is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the Resort's security & shuttle operations including daily supervision, training, and support of the Security & Shuttle teams while ensuring compliance with all Four Seasons standards and applicable regulations.
You will serve as a leader in promoting a culture of safety awareness, emergency preparedness, and teamwork across all departments, while also fostering a professional and compassionate approach to guest and employee interactions.
Lead and supervise the day-to-day Security & Shuttle operations, ensuring the protection of guests, employees, assets, and property.
Patrol and inspect the property to identify and correct potential hazards, enforcing all safety and security standards.
Implement, train, and reinforce policies and procedures related to security, safety, and emergency response.
Respond effectively and calmly to emergency situations; assist with Fire Command Center operations and emergency coordination.
Conduct and oversee required training sessions such as Fire Life Safety, OSHA, TIPS, Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP), and Hazard Communication.
Assist in managing Workers' Compensation claims and maintaining required safety and incident documentation.
Write and review incident reports, conduct thorough investigations, and ensure follow-up on all security-related issues.
Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement and emergency services.
Assist in developing and testing the Resort's Fire and Emergency Response Plan, including conducting fire drills.
Mentor, train, and provide real-time feedback to Security Officers & Shuttle Drivers; support hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Promote safety awareness throughout the Resort to reduce accidents and loss, providing proactive training and support.
Demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion in all interactions.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors, upholding Four Seasons' core value the Golden Rule : treating others as you wish to be treated.
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of security supervisory experience in a Security role, preferably within a hotel or resort setting.
Knowledge of CAL-OSHA, OSHA, ADA, and other applicable state and federal codes.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Experience leading training or presentations for employees or management.
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
