Job Description And Responsibilities
The Sr. Manager will be a member of the Visa Commercial Solutions, Strategy & Analytics team. This team is responsible for large, global strategic initiatives for Visa’s commercial payments business (business to business payments), including accelerating small business, entering new spaces, and helping drive the platform strategy.
Essential Functions
Support strategy development, and lead implementation, and execution for major initiatives, with an initial focus on new segment expansion
Collaborate with business lines across Regional and Functional areas
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis and communicate and generate support for recommendations among business leaders across the organization
Support ad-hoc projects such as strategic client meetings, acquisition evaluations, market sizing, and employee engagement efforts.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership / site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience required
Management consulting, investment banking, internal consulting or equivalent experience (5+ years) required
Payments industry experience a plus
Superior analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently within a complex and often ambiguous environment
Ability to develop content independently and prioritize workflow with limited supervision
Ability to handle multiple large project workstreams
Proven success in synthesizing large data sets related to a wide variety of functional business problems
Eagerness to work in cross-functional, global teams with personnel of all levels to accomplish project objectives
Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages in written and verbal communications
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to build credibility as a peer with Global Functions and Regions
Ability to make compelling presentations and influence senior leaders
Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
Additional Information
Work Hours : Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements : This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental / Physical Requirements : This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY : The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 147,700.00 to 214,150.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
