Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer with strong design capabilities and foundational analog experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in embedded system development, schematic and PCB design, and system-level troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Develop and design systems with a focus on digital design and foundational analog integration.

Create schematic designs and PCB layouts using schematic design tools.

Conduct system-level troubleshooting and resolve issues down to the component level.

Utilize logic analyzers and oscilloscopes for analysis and testing.

Engage in design reviews and contribute to the development from concept to prototype.

Enhance and build upon previous designs, depending on experience with FPGA and embedded C.

Essential Skills

Proficient in electrical engineering and electrical design.

Knowledge of digital circuits and digital design, particularly with STM32 microcontrollers.

Skilled in troubleshooting and prototype development.

Familiarity with Altium Designer and schematic design tools.

Ability to troubleshoot systems to the component level and conduct design reviews.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in medical device development is a nice-to-have but not required.

Work Environment

The position is based in Santa Clara and requires on-site work from Monday to Friday with flexible start times between 7am and 9am based on business needs. The role involves an 8-hour shift in a state-of-the-art facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Santa Clara, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $69.00 - $79.00 / hr.
