Role Overview : Could you be our next Group Benefits Underwriting Manager ?Globe Life is looking for a Group Benefits Underwriting Manager to join the team! In this role, you will be responsible for leading a small team of group underwriters, reviewing and analyzing requests for proposals for insurance coverage for prospective groups, as well as determining necessary rate actions for in-force groups at renewal. This role combines hands-on underwriting expertise with team leadership responsibilities, utilizing underwriting software and related computer programs to assess risk within prospective groups and determine premium rates for coverage requested. The position requires managing underwriting operations for supplemental health products marketed to employer groups, trusts, and associations while maintaining effective communication with both internal stakeholders and external brokers to ensure optimal risk assessment and competitive positioning. While this role is designed to be a hybrid position located in McKinney, Texas, we believe in finding the best talent regardless of location. Outstanding candidates may be eligible for full remote work based on experience and qualifications. What You Will Do :

• Manage a small team of group underwriters, underwriting supplemental health products marketed to employer groups, trusts, and associations
• Use rating tools and industry knowledge to make balanced assessments of the risks and rewards of sales opportunities and rate quote requests from information provided by Sales Directors. This includes -
