About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Local SEO Specialist to create scalable and automated systems that enhance visibility and revenue for thousands of restaurants on platforms like Google, Yelp, and TripAdvisor.

In this influential role, you will formulate frameworks, playbooks, and automation strategies that convert Local SEO into a reliable growth engine within the Peppr platform. You will partner with marketing, product, and engineering teams to achieve quantifiable improvements in local discovery metrics, making SEO an integral part of how Peppr merchants attract and convert customers at scale.

What You'll Do :

• Establish scalable Local SEO frameworks that standardize processes, templates, and performance metrics across numerous restaurant listings.
• Productize Local SEO workflows by transforming insights into repeatable tools, dashboards, and systems, including data synchronization, keyword clustering, and automated content generation.
• Design localized keyword strategies tailored to city, cuisine, and intent-based search behaviors to enhance discovery traffic and conversions.
• Lead optimization efforts across various platforms to boost merchant visibility on Google Business Profiles, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and other local discovery channels.
• Create monitoring and reporting systems to measure rankings, map views, and near-me performance, ensuring continuous improvement month over month.
• Conduct structured SEO experiments to test and scale strategies related to GBP optimization, schema automation, and the efficacy of local landing pages.
• Develop training materials for internal teams to promote SEO best practices and hygiene.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed SEO automation directly into Peppr’s platform, integrating local optimization into the user experience.
