Nights, with 8 and 12-hour shifts.Every third weekend rotation and holiday rotation.Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift positions.

Unit Overview : Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, where you will care for a diverse patient population, including :
Post-operative craniotomy patients.Spine surgery patients (cervical, thoracic, lumbar).Patients impacted by hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients as well as medical overflow cases.In collaboration with the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII), gain exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and cutting-edge care.

Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs, develop, implement and evaluate care plans.Recognize significant changes in patient condition and take appropriate actions.Implement strategies to enhance patient safety and learning readiness.Coordinate interdisciplinary discharge planning.Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes for improvements.Communicate effectively with team members and promote collaboration.Contribute to a culture of safety and participate in quality improvement initiatives.Required Qualifications :
Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the AHA.Graduation from an accredited Nursing program.Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Ability to provide holistic patient care with a focus on both patient and family needs.Proficient in electronic medical records and communication skills.Ability to make critical decisions independently and manage time effectively.Physical Requirements :
