What You'll Do in This Role
As a COTA with Elara Caring, you'll help patients rebuild the skills they need to live safely and confidently at home. Every visit is an opportunity to make progress that's personal and meaningful.
You will :
Implement individualized care plans created by the Occupational Therapist
Deliver one-on-one treatment and adjust interventions based on patient response
Provide education that empowers patients and caregivers long after each session
Partner with OTs, nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all regulatory standards
Support patient safety and help prevent unnecessary hospitalizations
What You'll Bring to the Team
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Active, unrestricted state COTA license
At least one year of clinical experience preferred
Reliable vehicle, driver's license, and current auto insurance
Ability to travel between Ann Arbor and Canton
Physical ability to assist with mobility and transfers (50–100 lbs)
