Production Supervisor - Step Plant

Home Pride, Inc. , a family-owned and operated business with 30 years of industry experience, is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Step Plant in Bristol, VA, to join our growing team.

Home Pride, Inc. started as a manufacturer of anchoring systems for the manufactured housing industry. Our facility works 4, ten-hour, day shifts weekly (Mon – Thurs)

Key Responsibilities :

• Work directly with the General Plant Manager to oversee all operations of the plant.
• Collaborate with HR and the General Plant Manager on hiring and terminations of production floor personnel.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high-quality finished goods.
• Control production costs.
• Maintain safety standards, including the proper use of all PPE, machinery, and heavy equipment. Conduct daily safety meetings and complete mandatory training in a timely manner.
• Coordinate production and shipping schedules to ensure purchase orders are filled in a timely manner.
• Track all production numbers and maintain accurate inventory counts for raw and finished goods.
• Manage personnel, including training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Review Certified Mil Test Reports to ensure all raw materials meet minimum material standards.
• Coordinate with front office and engineering personnel as needed.
• Evaluate production floor procedures and suggest methods for increasing efficiency, improving working conditions, and enhancing employee motivation
