What are your contributions to the team?
Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraftPerform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as requiredAdhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements for factory, shop and or hangar positionsComply with Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures.Participate in 5-S activities.Perform all work in a safe and timely mannerOperate ground support equipment as requiredPerform mechanical / electrical removals and installationsAssist with maintenance at off-site locations as neededAssist other maintenance disciplines as neededAssist with fuel and / or de-fuel of aircraft as neededAssist with engine removal / installation as neededAssist with aircraft component repair as neededHow to thrive in this role?
You have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificateYou typically have a minimum of 5 years' aircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experienceYou have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawingsYou have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft statusYou have your own basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory and control of toolsYou have the ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as requiredYou are able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidaysYou are able to work in seasonal / inclement weather outsideYou have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA)You have experience on corporate jets (preferred)You have basic PC skillsBombardier is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
