Overview

AirForce CyberWorx is an innovation lab focused on optimizing products, processes, and policies using Human-Centered Design best practices focused on cyber capability-melding academic and industry expertise to solve operational problems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

We are seeking a Junior Human-Centered Design Support Specialist to assist with various aspects of human-centered design projects. This role will involve collecting and acting on feedback, creating prototypes, supporting daily team activities, and contributing to project communications. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of human-centered design principles and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

REQUIREMENTS :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Behavioral Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Experience : At least three years of relevant experience working as a human-centered designer.
• Core Expertise : Basic understanding of human-centered design and / or design thinking with the ability to contribute insights into business processes and solutions.
• Specializations : Basic strengths in at least two of the following areas : user experience research, analysis, and interaction; product design support; futures thinking; facilitation skills.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must currently possess a SECRET (minimum) level DoD clearance.

Salary

$58.36 / hourly
