We are seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to support our Business Litigation practice group in downtown Minneapolis.
General Responsibilities
- Prepare legal documents and correspondence
- Assemble and file documents electronically through Case Management / Electronic Case Files (CM / ECF) for a variety of district, state, and appellate courts
- Frequently correspond with clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, and court personnel
- Process payment requests and coordinate the client billing process
- Maintain client files and contact information
- Calendar management : schedule meetings, conference calls, depositions, court hearings, and travel arrangements
- Proactively ensure the legal team is prepared with necessary materials for meetings, depositions, hearings, trials, etc.
- Open, review, and direct mail
- Other administrative tasks as assigned

3+ years of legal administrative experience, Business Litigation experience strongly preferredMinimum of high school graduation, Business school or related professional legal secretarial degree preferredProficiency in Microsoft Word and OutlookProficiency in ECF in both state and federal levelsProven ability to manage multiple calendars, including docketing of court deadlines
