About the Team :
As the manager of Software Engineering, you will lead the team responsible for the Software Asset Management (SAM) product area within IT Asset Management (ITAM), enabling organizations to manage software licenses effectively, optimize costs, and maintain compliance. This leadership role involves setting technical direction, driving execution of key initiatives such as license compliance and optimization, telemetry improvements, and innovative features like machine learning for contract analysis and AI‑driven customer experiences. You will oversee engineering operations, ensure product quality and scalability, and foster collaboration across global teams, including close partnership with the IDC team to deliver 24x7 customer support. The position requires strong people leadership to mentor and grow engineering talent, strategic planning to align with business objectives, and cross‑functional engagement to improve product adoption and deliver customer success.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $163,600 - $286,300, plus equity (when applicable), variable / incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
