- Shift : 12-hour day shifts\n
- Hours per Week : 36\n
- Estimated Weekly Salary : $2520 - $2700\n
- Free 1-bedroom housing included (pet units not available)\n
- Weekend Requirement : 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period\n
- On-Call Requirement : 3 shifts per 6-week period\n
- Time Off : Up to 14 days (including max 4 weekend shifts) may be requested at time of submittal\n
- Permanent residence must be 50+ miles outside of Fairbanks\n\nLabor & Delivery RN Qualifications\n
- Active Alaska RN license (or in process at time of application preferred)\n
- Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience in a hospital setting\n
- Recent clinical experience in postpartum, couplet care, and circulating for C-Sections\n
- Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring\n
- Ability to float to all hospital departments as needed\n
- New graduate RNs are not eligible\n
- Preferred : 5+ years of RN experience\n\nLabor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities\n
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, couplet care, and triage settings\n
- Circulate for C-Sections and assist with deliveries (approx. 80 per month)\n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes\n
- Float to other clinical departments as required\n
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotations per schedule\n
