• Assignment Type : Travel nursing assignment\n
• Unit : Labor & Delivery (LDRP – Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)\n
• Start Date : October 26, 2025\n
• End Date : February 15, 2026\n
• Duration : 16 weeks\n
• Shift : 12-hour day shifts\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary : $2520 - $2700\n
• Free 1-bedroom housing included (pet units not available)\n
• Weekend Requirement : 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period\n
• On-Call Requirement : 3 shifts per 6-week period\n
• Time Off : Up to 14 days (including max 4 weekend shifts) may be requested at time of submittal\n
• Permanent residence must be 50+ miles outside of Fairbanks\n\nLabor & Delivery RN Qualifications\n
• Active Alaska RN license (or in process at time of application preferred)\n
• Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience in a hospital setting\n
• Recent clinical experience in postpartum, couplet care, and circulating for C-Sections\n
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring\n
• Ability to float to all hospital departments as needed\n
• New graduate RNs are not eligible\n
• Preferred : 5+ years of RN experience\n\nLabor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities\n
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, couplet care, and triage settings\n
• Circulate for C-Sections and assist with deliveries (approx. 80 per month)\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes\n
• Float to other clinical departments as required\n
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations per schedule\n
