Overview

Jacobs is building a high-impact HVAC design team focused on delivering innovative solutions for heavy industrial clients. The Senior HVAC Designer will lead the design of mechanical systems, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary group, and ensure technical quality and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the layout and mechanical design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Develop conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Prepare final construction documents for chilled water, cooling water, and other HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and vendors to integrate mechanical designs into the overall project.
• Maintain schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, gaining familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
