SAS Technical Consultant

This is day 1 onsite in Peoria, IL.

Experience :

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or software development.
• 3+ years of experience in leading migration projects, especially from SAS to Python.
• Proficiency in SAS , Python , and the Python data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Jupyter, etc.).
• Experience with ETL processes , data pipelines , and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Skills :
• Expertise in SAS programming (Base SAS, SAS Macro, SAS SQL) and migrating it to Python.
• Strong understanding of data modeling , data transformation , and data visualization techniques.
• Experience in machine learning models and libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
• Familiarity with SQL , NoSQL databases , and big data technologies .
• Knowledge of best practices for cloud-based architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Soft Skills :
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Leadership and team management experience, including mentoring and training junior staff.
