Ultrasound Tech Job Details Location : Kenosha, WI 53142 Setting : Hospital – General Imaging Employment Type : Travel Ultrasound Tech Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Oct 27, 2025 – Jan 24, 2026) Shift : 8-hour day shifts Hours per Week : 40 Estimated Weekly Pay : $2550-$2610 Ultrasound Technician Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Sonography program Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with Abdomen and OB / GYN credentials issued by ARDMS (or obtain within 3 months) Vascular Technologist (RVT), Vascular Sonography (VS), or Vascular Specialist (RVS) registration (or obtain within 3 months) Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-AE or RCS) registration (or obtain within 18 months) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (or obtain within 6 months) Proficiency in general and / or vascular sonographic procedures Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and adapt to change Physical capability to lift, carry, push / pull, and perform patient transfers Ultrasound Tech Responsibilities Operate ultrasound equipment to perform general, vascular, and cardiac imaging procedures Identify normal and pathological findings in sonograms Review patient medical records and gather clinical information Position patients and select appropriate transducers and technical settings Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures Adapt procedures based on diagnostic information and patient needs Accurately label images with patient and scan details Maintain records and enter study data into the radiology information system Report equipment performance issues to appropriate staff Analyze sonograms and communicate findings to physicians Provide age-appropriate care in accordance with hospital policies Experience Kenosha’s friendly atmosphere, beautiful parks, and proximity to Lake Michigan while growing your career in a supportive hospital setting.
