• ?This job is a member of the Revenue Accounting Team within the Finance Division.
• ?Responsible for reporting and analyzing data related to credit card disputes, payment processing, operations and fees, as well as assisting in identifying process improvements

What you'll do

Provides in depth analysis of processing volumes, including issue identification and root cause analysis

Develops dashboards and reports to summarize and communicate operational metrics

Evaluates developments in the payment industry and how they impact American

Works closely with internal teams to coordinate resolutions on production problems, cost reduction initiatives and associated payments reporting / policy / fraud issues

Helps maintain American's relationships with all domestic and international credit card schemes, processors and other payment partners

Builds consensus with other internal departments such as Sales, aa.com, Information Technology, Legal, Cobrand, and Marketing

Serves as a liaison to the Payment product delivery team related technology projects

Assists with transaction level processing such as rejects and exceptions

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or other relevant field or equivalent experience / training

3 years related work experience in similar field / position

Ability to create process documentation
