Description

We are seeking a hands-on Product Manager, Planning Systems to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our enterprise planning technology ecosystem. This role will be instrumental in driving the evolution of SKIMS’ Planning and Allocation platforms — with a strong emphasis on Oracle Planning implementation and optimization .

You will own the Planning Systems roadmap , enabling advanced capabilities in MFP, demand forecasting, assortment planning and inventory allocation. This includes ensuring seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems such as ERP (NetSuite) , Data lake (Snowflake) platforms to deliver accurate, timely, and data-driven planning insights.

As the primary owner of planning systems, you will work closely with cross-functional partners across Planning, Merchandising and Data & Analytics to enhance automation, improve data integrity, and strengthen process efficiency. You’ll be responsible for managing incidents, leading post-mortems, and driving long-term solutions to improve platform stability and performance.

This role is ideal for someone who combines a deep understanding of retail planning processes with technical expertise in Oracle Planning and related SaaS tools , and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Primary System Owner and Administrator for Planning and Allocation platforms, ensuring smooth end-to-end operations.
• Lead the implementation, integration, and enhancement of planning systems — with a strong focus on Oracle Planning platform implementation and maintenance .
• Create and maintain SOP documentation for Planning and Allocation processes.
• Manage the Planning Systems roadmap , ensuring stakeholder needs are prioritized and addressed through structured development efforts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Planning, Allocation, Finance, Data) to ensure seamless integration between Oracle Planning, ERP, and downstream systems .
• Communicate system issues, risks, and timelines effectively to business partners.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and system integrators to manage ongoing support, upgrades, and feature roadmaps.
• Conduct post-mortem analyses on system incidents, identifying root causes and recommending improvements.
• Develop and enhance automations, data workflows, and analytics within Planning applications.
• Partner with internal development teams to draft product specifications, business requirements , and user stories using an Agile / Scrum framework.
• Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and perform functional and regression testing for new features and releases.
• Build and maintain reporting and alerting processes within planning systems.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization and user experience improvement .
