The Customer’s office responds to harassment allegations, workplace conflicts, and grievances from the workforce. The Customer utilizes a case management system to maintain case records. The system collects layers of structured data on all case records that is analyzed to generate static and dynamic reports and infographics used to derive business insights and assess and improve data health. The Customer is in the process of transitioning from a basic system that requires manual export and triage of data for analysis and metric creation in Excel, and Tableau, to a custom system that has out-of-the box basic dashboard metrics. The Systems Engineer will extract raw data from the CMS as Comma Separated Value (CSV) files for import into Excel, where Candidate will scrub data for gaps and discrepancies. The Systems Engineer will collect user requirements from Customer employees and generate recommendations for updates and expansions of Customer system capabilities; the Customer Program Manager will review and prioritize the requirements prior to passage to Customer developers. The Systems Engineer will liaise with Customer developers to ensure they have an accurate understanding of Customer process and development requirements. The Systems Engineer will prepare business data metrics reports and infographics according to Customer requirements and shall monitor the effectiveness of the system reporting functions to make recommendations for improved capabilities. The Systems Engineer will evaluate the current Customer internal knowledge management practices, propose best practices, facilitate implementation, and monitor effectiveness and maintenance. The Systems Engineer will update and maintain system user documentation and training materials, as well as a set of business process maps using Business Process Mapping Notation. The Systems Engineer will identify and propose business process improvements and efficiencies, for both manual processes and those automated in the system, to Customer Program Manager. The Systems Engineer will perform new employee on-boarding process briefings, Customer system training, and provide guidance for all Customer employees on the use of the system and Customer case file management and documentation.
1. Demonstrated experience using Excel and Tableau to perform data analysis, to include writing formulas and basic coding to elevate analysis capabilities beyond the basic functionality of those platforms.
2. Demonstrated experience creating insightful and focused infographics in Excel and Tableau that meet basic graphic design best practices
3. Demonstrated experience crafting technical requirements and user stories for workflow application development
4. Demonstrated experience clearly briefing, providing instruction, and creating reference materials for activities such as on boarding or user engagement.
5. Demonstrated experience performing small-scope business process analysis to identify areas of opportunity for integration and efficiency.
6. Demonstrated experience clearly drafting, defining, communicating, and implementing metrics-based and workforce-vetted process improvements.
7. Demonstrated experience identifying, proposing, and facilitating the implementation of comprehensive and multi-modal knowledge management best practices.”
