Special Education Teacher (Odessa, TX)- 6th Grade

Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher for our client in Odessa, TX. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for education, patience, competence and the ability to create a supporting learning environment tailored to each student's unique needs. Special Education Teachers will develop individualized plans while working with a wide range of students with cognitive, emotional and learning disabilities.

Requirements :

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Special Education

Valid Texas state licensure in Special Education

Responsibilities :

Develop IEPs for a wide range of students

Tailor lessons to the needs of individual students

Implement IEPs, assess students' performance, document and report on progress

Communicate and collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and counselors

Provide in-class support for subjects such as reading, writing, and math, among others
