Tire Technician

Champtires is searching for a highly motivated person to join our West Mifflin location.

Prior automotive or tire installation experience is preferred, but not necessary.

Compensation will be based on experience.

The tire technician will :

• Install, mount, balance and repair tires Operate necessary machinery safely, following all safety instructions and guidelines Assist customers and co-workers Complete work orders and related paperwork Maintain, organize and clean the shop and equipment   A successful candidate will have :   Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Ability to perform duties in a safe manner and to consistently follow policies and procedures Ability to lift 50 pounds and be able to stand, bend and lift for continuous periods of time At least a high school diploma or GED Authorization to work in the U.S. and be at least 18 years old   Tire industry knowledge experience is a plus, but not required.
