Security Officer - Healthcare Patrols Unarmed

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrols Unarmed in Newtown Square, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication to create a welcoming environment. Pay Rate : $24.00 / Hour

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents within the location to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations, including assisting with evacuations or other urgent actions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, observations, and incidents as directed by site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
