IT Manager Database Administration

You'll hold a pivotal leadership position within our Information Technology function. This role focuses on managing and mentoring a team of IT professionals while contributing to the strategic direction of our technology landscape. You will report directly to our IT Director, and you'll work out of our Morris Plains, Houston, or Charlotte location on a hybrid work schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Experience with administering, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo, etc.)
• Oversee and coordinate activities with Vendor to ensure SLAs and performance metrics are met.
• Implement and manage database monitoring tools and alerting systems
• Design and test disaster recovery and high availability strategies
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and security hardening
• Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with application teams to support database-related development and deployment
• Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and vendor interactions
• Partner with Enterprise Architects on solution architecture for databases.

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position is $145,000 - $181,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
