We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Warehouse Manager to play a key role in the success of our warehouse operations. This position is essential to ensuring our products are received, stored, and shipped with the precision and care that represent the Zwilling brand. As an integral part of our warehouse leadership team, the Assistant Warehouse Manager will partner with the Senior Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily activities, support operational improvements, and lead frontline teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily warehouse functions including receiving, putaway, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, returns, VAS work, and returns processing
- Coordinate the movement of goods to meet shipping schedules and service level agreements (SLAs) with a high degree of accuracy
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of high-value merchandise to preserve product quality and traceability
- Monitor labor productivity and flow of goods throughout the warehouse, adjusting resources as needed to meet changing demands
- Manage multiple competing priorities and time-sensitive tasks while remaining calm under pressure in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
Performance Management and Metrics
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order accuracy, cycle times, labor efficiency, and inventory integrityPartner with the Senior Warehouse Operations Manager to review trends, identify performance gaps, and implement data-driven solutionsEnforce accountability and adherence to operational standards through consistent performance feedback and coachingTeam Leadership & Development
Provide hands-on leadership, support, and oversight to 120+ warehouse team membersReinforce a culture of safety, discipline, and continuous improvement through coaching, feedback, and mentorshipParticipate in recruiting, onboarding, and cross-training efforts to develop a flexible, high-performing workforcePromote a collaborative environment that values pride in work and team success, rooted in respect and empathySystems & Process Management
Utilize WMS and ERP systems (SAP) for inventory control, work planning, and real-time visibility into operationsMaintain organization systems that reflect our German principles of order and efficiencySupport lean practices such as kaizen and 5S to reduce waste and drive continuous improvementEnsure operational documentation, inventory records, and reporting are accurate and aligned with company standardsCross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Sales, and Transportation to resolve order and inventory issuesSupport internal and external audits, cycle counts, and physical inventory eventsHelp ensure alignment between warehouse operations and broader business objectives, including seasonal readiness and promotional eventsSafety and Compliance
Promote a safety-first mindset and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal protocolsConduct routine inspections and lead safety meetings to reinforce best practicesQualifications
Required :
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience3 to 5 years of experience in a high-volume warehouse environmentProficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office, with good working knowledge of ExcelDemonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teamsFamiliarity with practical application of Lean methodologiesStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, track KPIs, and drive operational decisionsEffective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and levelsFlexibility to accommodate weekend work or modified shift schedules to support seasonal business demandsProven ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines and prioritiesCommitment to safety, quality, and operational disciplinePreferred :
Background in premium consumer goods, luxury retail, or branded warehousing environmentsExposure to seasonal volume swings, product launches, or omni-channel fulfillment operationsForklift certification and hands-on experience operating material handling equipmentExperience working with SAP EWMFamiliarity with labor planningSpanish language skills a plusBase Salary Range : $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year contingent upon experience.
