Electro-Mechanical Technician - Erlanger, KY 41048

Job Summary :

A long-standing global manufacturer in the printed products and packaging industry, is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to support their automated production operations. This role performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electromechanical and robotic equipment to keep high-speed production lines running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on automated production and packaging systems.
  • Troubleshoot and assist with PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500 / 5000 and Siemens S7 preferred).
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Maintain accurate service and repair documentation through CMMS.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
  • Follow all plant safety requirements, PPE policies, and lockout / tagout procedures.

Key Requirements :

  • 3+ years of experience in electrical / mechanical maintenance or mechatronics.
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, automation, sensors, motors, and drives.
  • Experience diagnosing mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
  • Technical degree or equivalent training in industrial maintenance or related field.
  • Comfortable working around automated systems and high-speed equipment.
  • Able to lift to 50 lbs. and work on equipment requiring bending, reaching, and standing for long periods.
  • Experience within a printing or packaging environment is highly preferred.
