Preconstruction Manager - Commercial Floor Coating

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Manage, using Core Values, all Dallas flooring estimators and coordinate reporting to you
• Vacation, L&D, Reviews, etc. Manage market knowledge and pricing
• Manage Projections with BD; work with BD directly
• Know customer base and types of jobs; build relationships with PreCon of companies
• Allocate estimators to jobs, understanding strengths and weaknesses
• Manage Building Connected
• Bid not to bid
• Analyze wins and losses
• Review bids (scope, bid forms, bonds, etc.)
• Needs assessment and hiring
• Train estimators
• Estimating 10-20% Managing; 70% sales; 10% other
• Scorecard : hitting core targets, estimate $4M in Dallas, touches
• Collaborate on when to take a job and when not to
• Timing, manpower allocation, leadership, type of job

Physical Requirements
