Job Title :  Echocardiographic Technician

Job Specific Information : Pediatric experience preferred.

Shift Time : Variable

Hours :  start times could range from 7, 730 or 8am - variable

Shift length :  8 hours - 36hr guarantee

Weekend rotation : Every 4th or 5th weekend

On Call : Yes

Required certifications :  Certified / Credentialed Echo program (RDCS or RCS)

Scrub Color : Burgundy

Job Description :

Job Summary :  Performs a variety of cardiac testing including, stress, transesophageal, transthoracic, dobutamine stress echocardiograms and others as indicated (ICE, 3D, strain, specialty and fetal echocardiograms); calculates acquired data and prepares study for medical staff interpretation.

Education :   Associate's Degree – from an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent
