COORDINATOR I, DATA AND ASSESSMENT

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Valid California administrative services credential
  • Successful teaching or other related experience with K-8 students
  • Successful teaching or related experience with at-risk, English Learner, and gifted students
  • Knowledge of law, policies and procedures related to Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) instruction, state testing, and Career Technical Education (CTE)
  • Knowledge of community organizations and resources related to CTE
  • Experience in development and delivery of professional development activities
  • Knowledge of early intervention, intervention programs, assessments, enrichment programs and activities to assist students, staff, and families
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, and community
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Valid driver's license and personal automobile for use on district business

REPORTS TO : Administrator as assigned

SUPERVISES : Staff as assigned

JOB GOAL : To strengthen and align educational enrichment, intervention and engagement programs for students and parents by providing leadership in planning, implementing and coordinating the District's Expanded Learning Opportunities Program

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Serves as an administrator for CTE and GATE programs and local state assessments
  • Supervises and evaluates classified and certificated staff as assigned
  • Communicates and collaborates with parents, students, staff and the community
  • Aligns fiscal and material resources to support positive student outcomes
  • Serves as resource for district staff and site staff in related program areas; provides training and information to assist in compliance with related law, policy and procedures; plans and delivers related professional development activities
  • Designs and demonstrates student enrichment activities and methods of implementation
  • Participates collaboratively in meetings with district staff and outside agencies as necessary to coordinate services and ensure integration with overall educational goals
  • Performs regular site visits to assess program implementation, program delivery and plans to improve services for students
  • Assists schools in implementing enrichment for Gifted students, CTE programs, administering assessements and date analysis
  • Provides leadership through data analysis, coaching, innovation, collaboration, conflict management and intervention to meet student outcome goals
  • Maintains necessary records and files, reviews billing from contractors, and prepares reports as needed
  • Models personal and professional values of equity, integrity, caring, collaboration, personal and collective accountability
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • SALARY : $155,410 - $188,735 Annually, 223 days

    (max salary includes longevity & education stipends)

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT :

    Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and the possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operator's license. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act.
